When one of our kittens leaves Sweet Home Alabama Bengals, our commitment to them doesn't end at our door. Every kitten we bring into this world will always be part of the Sweet Home Alabama family, and their lifelong happiness and well-being will always matter to us.
For that reason, declawing is absolutely prohibited for every Sweet Home Alabama Bengal. We believe their claws are a natural and important part of who they are, and we expect our families to provide appropriate scratching surfaces, enrichment, and positive alternatives.
We also understand that life can change in ways no one expects. If at any point—whether months or many years from now—a family is no longer able to care for one of our Bengals, we ask that they contact us first. We will help determine the best and safest placement for that cat.
No Sweet Home Alabama Bengal should ever find themselves abandoned, surrendered to a shelter, or passed from home to home without us knowing.
They may leave our home, but they never stop being one of ours.
